Rats
Rats are incredibly smart and creative when it comes to finding food and shelter. Able to burrow under building foundations, chew through siding, navigate venting ducts and squeeze through gutterline gaps; rats will access a structure if they have a vested interest and allowed to come and go as they please.
Keep an eye and ear out for signs of activity which would indicate you're dealing with unwelcomed guests. Some obvious signs include scurrying around in attic/between floors and chewing heard in walls late at night or early morning (10pm - 2am is typically the ratting hour), tic-tac sized droppings left in basements or dirty brown 'rubbing' marks seen at entry holes on the outside of structures.
You can prevent a rat infestation.
Have our team in to assess your building and concern - we will be able to identify where the rats are gaining access. Depending on the extent of the repairs required, we will often have your structure rat-proofed and rat-free within 24-48 hours. Driven by thirst, rats will be forced to leave through the one-way door installed leaving you peaceful and protected.
Rats have been known to chew through concrete and easily use discontinued utility lines to access your home from underground!
