Policies and Terms of Service
What if there are wildlife babies, how will this affect my service?
During baby season, wildlife may drop their young. Our team is trained to identify whether babies are present during the inspections and services using a variety of tips and tricks earned from years of experience.
Should babies be identified, this will be communicated to you with the proposed way forward.
If the young are mobile and able to follow mom out and or within accessible reach, they can be removed from the structure while onsite. Should they still be immobile, our team will leave them until they are big enough to survive relocation with mom. Don't worry, we will support you every step of the way.
Working with wildlife can sometimes result in babies being locked in accidentally, if this takes place you will know based on the mother's behaviour on the outside trying to get back in - all you need to do is call us and we will have our team out to your site immediately to open up for mom and babes to be reunited.
It's important to note that we won't take chances and risk locking babies into a structure once sealed up, but will instead err on the side of caution if there is any concern. Should additional service visits be required, a call out fee will apply.
Side note: You may have come across many pest control companies who will remove wildlife babies while they are still pink, hairless and immobile. They will leave the young in re-uniting chambers for mom to collect and take away with her. As she can only move them one at a time, this leaves the babies vulnerable and exposed to predation/the elements leading to a likely death as she returns for those remaining.
This is simply not something we will do.
How long is my quote valid for?
Thirty (30) days from the date of the quotation being sent out.
If adulting happens and you only get around to approving it after 30 days, we can easily support you - all that needs to take place is that we may need to requote it to ensure everything on there is still accurate.
I have just approved my quote, what now?
Congrats! You are almost there, and our team is doing the happy-dance in preparation of supporting you in being critter-free!
We will make all the arrangements on the backend and send you over an email confirmation outlining the date and time of service.
Should additional details be needed, we will ensure all of this is in place for a smooth experience.
Now sit back and relax, we will take it from here.
Tell me about your warranties:
We are one of the few companies that offer multi-year warranties for multiple species. So even though you called about rats in your roof, we will also protect you against squirrels. You have peace of mind and get to save your well-earned finances against having to pay for a different species entering the same spots!
We take great pride in our work and top quality materials which ensures all our workmanship is guaranteed.
An important thing to note when comparing quotes between companies is that we warranty the entire structure not just the points of entry. We do this because we understand wildlife behaviour and certain species may simply move from treated areas to untreated areas to get back in.
We are so confident in our expertise and the quality of workmanship, that we can easily apply two year warranties on re-entry to our services.
Mice can be a bit trickier and so even though our workmanship is guaranteed we don't warranty the structure on mice re-entry.
This doesn’t mean that the service you are receiving is substandard but instead its because baby mice can squeeze through a ½ inch gap which may be in an area inaccessible to humans - that includes our techs. Our service is designed to go over your entire structure with a fine tooth comb and we will not leave your site until you are mouse-free!
Have a look at the specific terms of warranty on your assessment as every human-wildlife conflict is unique to the variables onsite.
Under what circumstances would warranties not be upheld?
Although not often, there can be situations where our warranties are voided.
Unknowns:
These are irregularities, anomalies or unbeknown deficiencies within the structure which are discovered during the time of service.
Examples of this may be:
- renovations hiding fundamental flaws
- deficiencies that may not be seen during a general inspection at the time of assessment and quotation.
- structural/building practices not up to code
Post-service structural changes:
If the structure has had changes done to it such as renovations or repairs after our service has been completed and leads to pests re-entering the structure this will void the warranty.
Pest proofing removal:
Once we have completed a service should any of our pest proofing be deliberately removed allowing pests back in, the warranty will be voided.
What are your terms of payment?
Our invoices will be emailed over to you.
As a residential client the invoice will be due on the day of initial service.
As a commercial client, payment will be due with 15 or 30 days depending. Please see individual terms on your invoice.
Will I be penalised if late on my payment?
We don't like to do this, but unfortunately balances due to late payments are subject to a 2% per month fee.
Should escalation to debt collectors need to take place (we certainly hope not!), all associated expenses to recover outstanding payments will also be due.
I want to pay my invoice, how do I do so?
We have several easy options available:
Credit cards
Feel free to call into our office (236 885 8689) to pay via credit card. Please note that all credit card payments are subject to a 3.25% processing fee.

What if I want to cancel the service?
We will be sorry to see you go, but this can sometimes happen due to reasons out of peoples' control.
As a residential client, we will require a written notice of cancellation 72 hours prior to scheduled service. Failure to submit within these terms will result in a $195 cancellation charge.
As a commercial client, one (1) week prior written notice is required. A fee amounting to ten - fifteen percent (10 - 15%) of invoice total will apply for scheduling changes and material cost outlay in preparation of service.
